Registration Begins in:
Hello! Welcome to our very first LGBTQ Faith Book Club!
I’m so excited to have you join us in this exciting journey of deepening our love for each other, ourselves, and God. Here are a few details you should know:
*Registration will begin at 10am MST on July 23rd (those on the waiting list will get access 24 hours prior). A min. of 20 people will be required to launch. Once registration is complete, you will be provided a link to immediately vote for your favorite books and provide the requested information. This is extremely important as your votes are how the reading list will be formed. Once you’ve completed that survey, you will receive an email within 24 hours welcoming you to the club and providing you with access to the private Facebook group.
*The book club will officially launch on September 1st, 2020 with the finalized list of books being provided 2 weeks prior.
*This book club is open to people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and faiths. Allies, parents, pastors, family members, etc. of the LGBTQ+ community are also encouraged to join. All you need is a desire to listen, learn, and grow. (Note: Homophobia/Transphobia or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. This is meant to be a safe space for all who join to learn and grow. Anyone that cannot adhere to the guidelines will be removed.)
*Each month, weekly discussion questions will be provided within the private Facebook group for members to engage. At the end of each month we will host a virtual gathering (via Zoom or some other platform) and dialogue about the book. Our goal is to have the author of some of the books (if not all of them) join us for these dialogues, however this is not guaranteed and is subject to availability, timing, etc.
*Some of the books that are being considered are:
“Outside the Lines,” Mihee Kim-Kort
“Changing Our Mind,” David Gushee
“After Evangelicalism,”David Gushee (Releasing Oct. 2020!)
“Modern Kinship,” Dave and Tino Kalaf

*There will be a $25/month membership fee with a 6 or 12 month commitment. (Those wanting to commit month by month will have a higher fee.) Patreon members will receive a 10% discount.
*The book of the month is not included in the monthly fee but links will be provided as to where they can be purchased. All books are also titles that should be easily found at your local library.
*On the first of each month, one person’s name will be drawn to receive a free copy of that month’s book!
*Mark your calendars as space is limited! If you would like to receive an email when registration opens, please enter your email address in the subscribe box below.
